Daffelz moved to the Boston area so I've been away from my precious Karasu while hanging out with him and helping him out here. I miss the game and I definitely miss events and hnm pops. Apparently Karasu has been raping the kings, including getting a Defending ring and some a.bodies. Good show, good show.

After einherjar today I was lucky enough to catch Siveth, so after the lame break and losing a Cerberus Claw a few weeks ago, the powers of creepy taru blessed me with this:

My candytwin has been trying to get me to update my livejournal with our recent shenanigans and triumphs but I just keep putting it off. It took 5 hours into a 7 hour maintenance to get this thing started. Nice.

Right! So! How is everyone today? Long maintenance huh?

There have been two Odin matches since I last updated my journal. We're just sailing through Einherjar even with a missed run due to Khimaira (Don't ask. At least we got a Hauteclaire for Sayomi for her DRK).



    

Haha. No Ebody for Xerlic but he and Nedicinevi now have fancy new Shadow Coats. First Helm was freelot (...) to Benisoni. Second to Villian! BH is now 4/5 Phantasmal. The rest of the stuff isn't as important. :D



When we actually find Sandworm and get it, we've been getting pretty meh with it. Last Lambton gave us a Guivre Skull only. Gogo Thief not even ranged attacking to get on the hate list.


Ixion? Well.. Insert: You do not meet the requirements to hold the Ixion Tail. Ixion Tail is lost. My puppetmaster will have to wait for another few weeks for movement speed. Q. Q.

And I hate Pianissimo.

Oh hey! Speaking of my Puppetmaster, before you all go "Oh, Alahsiedra, we're tired of your on-again off-again relationship with Calcobrena. Just end it already!" I have news for you!

It really did take me this long to stick it out to 75. I'm glad Daffelz pushed me to do it, I wouldn't have been able to level if he wasn't dragging me to change allegiance to San d'Oria [S] (Campaign wouldn't stop in Bastok [S]) and then got me to campaign and duo with him.

After 75 we hit the ground running with merits. We have a good static with Clodelroth, Toanl, Daffelz, and me. We even had Insoluble party with us twice. I won't Finale Mamool Ja Philosophers because of that. I enjoy making him QQ.



Already! Woohoo my Puppetmaster merits are going to be done faster than when I merited for the requirements into Karasu.

Daffelz and I have actually gotten to hang out more! Yay Candytwin Power! <- Which is the segway to the next phase in my update: Misc. Candytwin things.

Daffelz got an Ixion cloak at the last auction where it was available. Now we match!.. Yeah!

In pursuit of a Perdu Hanger for Daffelz, Jatayu mentioned doing the General Serpent quests. I had never done these but always heard good things about them, so I was all for tagging along with candytwin as he did them. I'm glad I did!


When preparing for ultimate 75 goodness, we went to Movalpolos, that horrid, HORRID place to get Avinor and Daffelz some hooves.

There were attempts to get me some Dark Knight gloves from a certain Gnat that will remain unnamed. 0/2.



I finally also got rid of my Suppanomimi that I thought would make for a great DD Corsair earring. Hi Quick Draw only. I got an Abyssal for my Scholar. I wasted one Karasu point on a god damn Abyssal earring. Oh, I need some sea capes.


ZNM-wise I've been slacking because of the rush to 75 Puppetmaster, but I was able to solo-kill a Chigre pop and Gigiroon pop for candytwin who almost died from sitting. No ring, no pants, no sword. What's up with that?

Also I have my rival in the linkshell who claims to be soloing their own Tinnin pop-set.. Claims. To.

My first and second defeat happened, as well. Nosferatu is giving me quite the run for my money, but until I get my Tyger and Tinnin pop sets (solo~) I will have to put him on hold for another rematch. Gigiroon is never at minimum Zeni price anymore so it's not worth it to keep blowing out 6000zeni when I have other goals. I was very stubborn about Nosferatu.




Ichthyos was kind enough to drop off my copy of the FFXI Piano Collection. It was pretty cool meeting someone from FFXI that could really just walk to my house and chat. It'll be cooler when.... Wheheheh.

But oh yes! My Harpsichord.  After browsing the BG Mog house thread I feel like redoing my Mog House. Screw saving up for a Hades Sainti +1, I need more furniture!!
